Trying not to cry in the gym!

Getting rid of the CPAP is my biggest goal!Nataliehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05104693042948517678noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7049713508865658990.post-13911874010256303212015-03-05T14:52:32.148-08:002015-03-05T14:52:32.148-08:00Thanks Richard. Both my grandmothers had some form of cancer and my mum died of breast cancer (it was not caught early, it had already spread to her bones). And my husband's mother also had breast cancer (but didn't die from it) and my husband's father's family has that horrible breast cancer gene... so my daughter has a very high risk we have to assume. I'll be getting her tested early and often.
She's only eleven but we've already talked about it, reassuringly of course. But telling her that we need to catch anything early and then she will be ok because they can treat it.

I hope your wife is doing ok now. A horrible thing for her and the family to go through. I'm glad they found it early.Nataliehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05104693042948517678noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7049713508865658990.post-82195647278413453052015-03-05T12:28:49.211-08:002015-03-05T12:28:49.211-08:00Focus on the positive ......

Some days we really have to battle with ourselves to get things done. Those are huge breakthroughs!
Try gargle with warm salt water to help that sore throat! Or even warm water with lemon, or some honey.
While it's great to have a reason (wining that dietbet) to lose weight, don't rely on that....make the reason you lose weight be "I'm worth it". When you lose the bet, you get negative. We don't need negativity in our lives. That leads to negative behaviors, bad eating and just feeling like crap. Think of the future without CPAP.....that should be your focus, not money!

Hang tough.....Dianahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12677754284276322596noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7049713508865658990.post-71078146701752926222015-03-05T03:25:48.603-08:002015-03-05T03:25:48.603-08:00Natalie give your self a "mental" break....Natalie give your self a "mental" break. I think it was a really emotional day getting your mortgage paid but at the same time thinking about your mom. Losing weight is not a linear journey, the ups and downs are just normal. I don't think salt will make you gain fat, it will make you retain liquid, just a good sweaty workout should be enough to balance that. You are doing great, you are so determine, have faith in yourself!

I am so sorry to hear about your mom, my wife had a mastectomy from a breast cancer 16 months ago, we were lucky that it was diagnose early. But you do know that it is hereditary and you should keep watch on that? We have 2 daughters and the doctor recommended that starting at 40 they get mammography every year.
Richardhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08738870796987568040noreply@blogger.com
