Resisting chocolate


I guess I can be proud of myself for yesterday. I was feeling sick and really wanted some comforting chocolate. But it wasn't part of my plan for the day (I get two little "indulgences" a week) and I didn't have it. I stuck to the plan.

Feeling quite a bit better again today, but this flu seems to have cycles so I am not counting of being completely well yet.

  1. Hi Natalie, Very good! Every day of discomfort where you don't sedate with food helps you build good habits about stopping emotional eating. We find out that--we live! We might not be exactly happy, but we don't have to overeat about it either. If you can learn to avoid emotional overeating most of the time--that is called weight maintenance of your goal weight. :D
