Sore muscles

Wednesday:

Today I could barely walk. Lowering myself into a sitting position was difficult, getting up even worse. Going down stairs! I think it was all those squats yesterday. I was really busy today (desk work) and didn't have time to go to the gym but planned to do some exercise at home but ended up not. Too sore. Less than 4000 steps today which is really low for me even on a non-exercise day.

Report card:
Diet: Good.
Exercise: Poor.
Water: Poor. Too sore to go and pour myself another drink.
Sleep: Good. Similar to previous nights.
Mental health: Mostly good.

Kind of proud of my sore thigh muscles. Hopefully I'll be able to move a bit more tomorrow.

    I don't believe in "no pain, no gain" so I won't encourage you to repeat it. It is so much better to have 2 good day of exercise than one day of abuse and one day on recuperating... there end of the chastises, do not sin no more.

    1. I probably overdid it a bit but it felt good (kind of) when I was doing it. All or nothing!

  2. I hate squats! My leg muscles always ache for days after. Thankfully my knee is keeping me from having to do them; one blessing from my pain :)

    1. I don't mind squats so much, except for the next-day pain, but I truly hate lunges. I can hear my knees creak and it hurts! I hope yours gets better soon. Sucks when you can't move like you want to.
